Training Standards Director Susie Donaldson originally qualified and worked as a Dietitian, specialising in supporting patients with chronic debilitating conditions. She became Director of the Suffolk-wide Dietetic Service, before leaving to raise her two sons and re-train as a counsellor.
Currently the Director of Inspire Counselling and Training in Ipswich, she manages the day-to-day and strategic operation of this growing organisation. Susie specialises in counselling couples and is an experienced tutor for Levels 2, 3 and 4 of the Barnabas counselling training programme. Susie also holds a Diploma in Counselling Supervision and is also a qualified Therapeutic Coach
Professor Ewan Wilkinson originally trained as a GP and worked in rural Africa for six years. 
He trained in public health medicine and has led different programmes and research to reduce the impact of long term diseases.
He currently teaches health economics and operational research in the UK and in low and middle income countries and is voluntary CEO of Jamie’s Fund, which supports the development of community mental services in Uganda.
Ewan is an established coach and mentor and a trained Myers Briggs practitioner and runs development days for individuals and teams.
Maureen is currently Medical Lead for Personal and Organisational Development in Cheshire & Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and Consultant Psychiatrist, Kisiizi, Bwindi and Kagando Church of Uganda Hospitals, south-west Uganda.
She has long experience in adult mental health services in the UK and in Africa, and teaches mental health topics, personal development including MBTI and leadership development, in health, education and church settings.
She teaches global mental health for doctors and nurses in the London, Liverpool and Glasgow Schools of Tropical Medicine, the University of Copenhagen Summer Schools in International Health and Global Health Challenges, and the University of Newcastle undergraduate special study module in Global Health. Maureen is Visiting Professor of Global Mental Health, University of Chester.
Andy is a chartered engineer and works as a Customer Solutions Manager in an Aerospace company. He and Hazel live in Hemel Hempstead and have two grown-up children.
They are members and Deacons of a local Baptist church where they are involved in the children’s work and youth work.
Hazel has a degree in Biochemistry and worked in immunology research before being a full time mum. She has a Diploma in Integrative Counselling and in Supervision, and a L5 Certificate in Creative Counselling.
She has a private counselling and supervision practice. She tutors on the Levels 2 and 3 Counselling Courses, and the Supervision and Creative Counselling Courses.
Hazel is also a Trustee of Deep Release and she runs training courses across the UK specialising in the fields of attachment, inner child, trauma and dissociation.
Business Director Ken Donaldson trained as a Chartered Secretary and has business experience in finance, admin, buying and customer service in the retail, printing, aviation and housing sectors. He worked for 3 years in Kenya for Mission Aviation Fellowship and was also in church leadership for 7 years.
He was Chief Executive of Crossroads Counselling in London for three years and has just stepped down after five years as Project Director for Talitha Koum, a charity dedicated to supporting vulnerable women in Suffolk.
He is a trained counsellor, supervisor, life coach and tutor, now focusing solely on his private practice and consultancy. Ken and Susie live in Eye, Suffolk, and they share four children.
Chris trained as a medical doctor and practised in the fields of Anaesthetics, General Practice, Adult and Child Psychiatry before setting up a private practice in London in 1984. As a committed Christian he sought to combine his medical and psychological understanding with spiritual insight. His research brought him into contact with Dr Frank Lake and his interest in pre-and perinatal trauma. Chris came back into the NHS as a Consultant Medical Psychotherapist for six years up till 2011 He enjoys teaching a wide variety of subjects and is particularly interested in the concept of Accelerated Education.
He continues to develop the “Integrative Cyclical Dynamic Model” which is an attempt to integrate the many diverse approaches to counselling and psychotherapy and how they each address particular aspects of the body, brain, mind, will and spirit and can be mapped onto a model of the brain. He believes psychoeducation to be of vital importance in helping clients to understand their own processes and be empowered in their healing journey.
In particular Chris teaches a “user friendly” approach to Neuroscience. He has now retired from being a doctor but continues his private practice as a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, Supervisor, Trainer and Life Coach. He has three grown up children and five grandchildren.
Managing Director Pauline Andrew teaches the L4 Diploma and post-qualification courses in Supervision and Creative Counselling. She has a BA (Hons) in Modern Languages, an MA in Counselling & Psychotherapy and a Diploma in Supervision. 
She holds a BTEC Level 4 teaching qualification in adult education. Pauline is also a Director of Deep Release and teaches a wide range of professional development training courses around the UK.
She has a small private counselling and supervision practice in Essex and has written many booklets on counselling issues. She is a qualified Myers Briggs practitioner, and she has a special interest in working creatively in counselling. You can visit her YouTube channel here.
