Maureen is currently Medical Lead for Personal and Organisational Development in Cheshire & Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and Consultant Psychiatrist, Kisiizi, Bwindi and Kagando Church of Uganda Hospitals, south-west Uganda.
She has long experience in adult mental health services in the UK and in Africa, and teaches mental health topics, personal development including MBTI and leadership development, in health, education and church settings.
She teaches global mental health for doctors and nurses in the London, Liverpool and Glasgow Schools of Tropical Medicine, the University of Copenhagen Summer Schools in International Health and Global Health Challenges, and the University of Newcastle undergraduate special study module in Global Health. Maureen is Visiting Professor of Global Mental Health, University of Chester.
